“I was born in sunny California with racing in my veins. I began racing with karting competitions as a teen. Shortly there after, I joined the ranks of the United States Auto Club and began my journey through international automotive competition.

In 1986, I was named Rookie of the Year, and began to see success on the track.  I won the Firestone Indy Lights while still in my twenties, along with other accolades. My racing career continued to flourish as I  won titles all over the world. Competing in a variety of races on ice, pavement, and dirt trails , I pushed my capabilities to explore all the facets of racing. I have conquered the American Racing Series and stood on the podiums of the Indy Lights, CART, and more. From vanquishing the 1999 CART to placing in the top five of the NASCAR Sprint Cup, I still competitively compete in all aspects of the racing circuit.”
